Planitherm Competition Terms and Conditions
1.1 - These terms and conditions together with any competition specific rules apply to all competitions run by Saint-Gobain Glass, unless otherwise expressly stated. By entering a competition, entrants agree to be bound by the terms and conditions set out below.
1 . 2 - Rules specific to each competition are displayed upon the entry form and where appropriate are incorporated herein. In the event of discrepancy between these terms and conditions and the entry form, the entry form shall prevail.
1 . 3 - Saint-Gobain Glass reserves the right to cancel or amend the competition, entry form or these terms and conditions at any time without prior notice. Any changes will be posted either within the participating merchants or as an update to these terms and conditions. 1 . 4 - Additional eligibility requirements may apply to a specific Competition (e.g. passport and/or driver's licence)
1 . 5 - Saint-Gobain Glass assumes that by entering the competition (you warrant that) either you have legal capacity to enter the Competition and agree to the rules (i.e. be legally bound in contract)
1 . 6 - By entering the Competition, you hereby warrant that all information submitted by you is true, current and complete
1 . 7 - Entrants should note that unless stated otherwise, Saint-Gobain Glass does not accept responsibility for the return of any competition entries.
2. Who is Eligible?
2 . 1 - All Saint-Gobain Glass competitions are open to UK residents aged 18 or over, excluding employees of Saint-Gobain Glass or any of its subsidiary companies, their families, agents or anyone else connected with this promotion. Saint-Gobain Glass reserves the right to verify the eligibility of entrants.
2 . 2 - Entrants must supply full details as required and comply with all terms and conditions to be eligible for the prizes. No responsibility is accepted for ineligible entries or entries made fraudulently.
2 . 3 - Saint-Gobain Glass reserves the right to disqualify any entrant if it has reasonable grounds to believe the entrant has breached any of these terms and conditions.
3. How to Enter
3 . 1 - Competition entries must be made in the manner stated below and by the closing date specified on the Competition Notice. Failure to do so will disqualify the entry.
3 . 2 - Entries may be submitted by completing the relevant form stating your name, address, telephone number and email address. Alternatively please send your entries to Rare Creative Group, FREEPOST Plus RRBS-LCXL-UJET, Aizlewoods Mill, Nursery Street, Sheffield, S3 8GG.
3 . 3 – This competition is open to the customers of bona fide window installers only. Installers must be signed up to the SGG Planitherm Installer Network. No third party entries, bulk entries or entries submitted by agents will be accepted.
3 . 4 - Only one entry will be accepted per person.
3 . 5 - Entries that are incomplete, defaced or damaged will be deemed invalid.
3 . 6 - Saint-Gobain Glass accepts no responsibility for entries lost, delayed or damaged in the post. Proof of sending is not proof of receipt.
4. Intellectual Property Rights
4 . 1 - By entering a Saint-Gobain Glass competition, you hereby warrant that the information which you submit and/or distribute will not infringe the intellectual property, privacy or any other rights of any third party, and will not contain anything which is libellous, defamatory, obscene, indecent, harassing or threatening.
4 . 2 - In consideration of Saint-Gobain Glass agreeing to consider entrants to the competition, each entrant hereby assigns to Saint-Gobain Glass the complete copyright and all other rights in any entry, which shall be for the full period of copyright.
4 . 3 - Winners may be requested to take part in promotional activity and Saint-Gobain Glass reserves the right to use the names and addresses of winners, and their photographs in any publicity.
5. The Prizes and deciding the winner
5 . 1 - The winners will be selected at random from all qualifying entries received. The closing time is 4pm of the closing date specified on the website. Entries received after this date will not be entered into the draw.
5 . 2 - In all matters, the decision of the judge(s) and Saint-Gobain Glass shall be final and no correspondence or discussion shall be entered into.
5 . 3 – The prize awarded shall cover the cost of materials, VAT and the installation up to, and not exceeding, a total value of £10,000.
5 . 4 - The prizes are non negotiable, there will be no alternatives offered.
5 . 5 - The prize winners will be notified by letter on the date of the draw being announced. If the winner cannot be contacted either by phone or letter within 28 days then Saint-Gobain Glass will redraw and select a new winner. Winners may be required to participate in publicity connected with this promotion.
5 . 6 - Return of any prize notification as undeliverable or failure to reply as specified in the notification within the time stated therein may result in disqualification prizes unclaimed after 28 days will be deemed to have been forfeited and Saint-Gobain Glass reserves the right to either offer the prize to the entrant whose name is next drawn at random, or to re-offer the prize in any future competition run by Saint-Gobain Glass.
5 . 7 - Saint-Gobain Glass reserves the right to cancel a competition at any stage, if deemed necessary in its opinion, and if circumstances arise outside of its control.
5 . 8 - Details of the prize winners may be obtained by sending a self-addressed stamped addressed envelope to prize winners, Saint-Gobain Glass UK Eggborough Plant, Weeland Road, East Riding of Yorkshire, DN14 0FD naming the specific competition for a list of winners.
5 . 9 - Saint-Gobain Glass reserves the right to provide a substitute prize of similar value at any time.
6. Data Protection and Publicity
6 . 1 - Any personal data relating to entrants will be used solely in accordance with current UK data protection legislation and will not be disclosed to a third party without the individual's prior consent.
7. Liability
7 . 1 - Saint-Gobain Glass cannot accept any responsibility for any damage, loss, injury or disappointment suffered by any entrant entering the competition or as a result of accepting any prize.
8. Jurisdiction
8 . 1 - All promotions are governed by English Law.
